Navigator safety and compliance
Every Navigator on the Platform is verified before activation. Requirements vary by category (Foot, Bicycle, Motorcycle, Car, Movers Service) and are detailed in full in our Navigator Partner Policy. In summary:
Identity verification against a national ID or passport, and a DCI Certificate of Good Conduct.
For motorised categories: a valid driving licence, vehicle insurance, and NTSA inspection certificate, checked before activation and monitored for renewal.
Motorcycle Navigators are required to wear a helmet and reflective jacket, and to register with a recognized Sacco or transport company in line with county Boda Boda regulations.
Ongoing performance and safety monitoring, with a clear process for reporting incidents and complaints.
Store verification
Stores are verified before their Listings go live on the Platform, with document requirements scaled to the size and formality of the business, as detailed in our Store Partner Policy. All Stores are required to comply with Kenyan consumer protection and product safety law, including the Anti-Counterfeit Act.
Insurance
[Insert details of any platform-level insurance Dropoint holds, such as public liability cover, once in place. Note that Navigators are independently required to hold their own vehicle insurance as detailed in the Navigator Partner Policy, this section should clearly distinguish between Dropoint's own cover and Navigators' individually held cover.]
